Preparing for your COVID-19 vaccination appointment

1. Update your Medicare details

For your vaccination record to appear on your myGov account your Medicare details must be up to date. Click here for more information, including how to arrange this for non-Medicare card holders

2. Bring valid photo ID and Medicare card

You will be required to present valid photo identification and your Medicare card on arrival at the Vaccination Centre

3. Wear appropriate clothing

The clinician who is administering your COVID-19 vaccination will assess the most appropriate shoulder for the vaccination site

4. Arrive on time

Prompt arrival for COVID-19 vaccinations (i.e. not before or after) will ensure the vaccination process is as efficient as possible
